New Years

I also had a great New Years Eve. I went to see a movie with my cousins and then we all went to my grandma's house and we played some games. It was a lot of fun. Our cousins spent the night at our house and I stayed up until three in three in the morning but the rest of them stayed up until at least five. Well, I had a great break and I hope everyone else did as well.

Christmas

I had a great Christmas. I got to see a whole bunch of my relatives as well as some friends. I got some pretty cool presents such as some movies. I also got some pretty cool outfits to wear. But, it is not about the presents, it is about seeing your family and celebrating with the people that you love.

Battle of the Books

I do Battle of the Books with some of my friends. We have done it every year since 5th grade. This will be our third year doing it. Our very first year, we were one of the youngest groups there and we ended up winning. It was totally cool. We got medals and everything. Best of all, we got to display the trophy at the school. The next year was not to good. We got sixth or seventh place. We did not practice very well. This year we plan to study and practice hard and well and we hope to bring the trophy home once again.

I have learned many thing in the past week during class. But, one of the best things was learning how to make a shelf on Shelfari. I love reading and telling others about books that I have read. This was great. But, it was kind of hard trying to think of all those books that I have read recently.
